Masonry Repairs – Four Schools

Overview

Faced with several beautiful but aging schools our client, through a referendum, funded the restoration and repair of four of its early 20th century schools. The repairs at Garfield, Roosevelt, Schuyler and Washington Schools varied for each and totaled over $10,000,000.

Scope of Work
The masonry repair work included:

• Repointing brick and stone
• Replacing stone sills, trim and lintels
• Rebuilding parapets
• Rebuilding chimneys
• Re-anchoring brick and stone
• Installing new flashing
• Replacing damaged brick and stone
